Simon was a man with a past, running from himself most of all. The moment they locked eyes, they both knew they'd found what they were missing. Escape was just a matter of time and anywhere would do, as long as they were together. But the road was long and money was tight. They needed a little extra to get to the border.
When a lone hitchhiker joins them at their motel, the opportunity is too easy to let go. She'd done it lots of times in her other life, she said. One more would be no big deal. Or, so they thought. Her name was Y. And she was about to show them that some questions are better left unanswered…
